Toronto

The Community Energy Savers (CES) program is designed to empower residents and businesses to reduce energy usage in their community. By participating in CES, as a Toronto community member, you not only have the opportunity to save energy and money in your homes and businesses, but you can also help Toronto receive up to $37,000 in grants from AEP Ohio and Columbia Gas of Ohio. These awards will fund energy efficient lighting at the new basketball court and dog park, and an energy efficient natural gas project at the future community center.

In addition to receiving financial grants, Toronto will receive assistance from AEP Ohio toward the development of a Sustainability Roadmap. The Roadmap will support the City Green Team in their efforts to continue making Toronto a sustainable city.

Toronto has a goal of 240 participation points for AEP Ohio programs and 78 points for Columbia Gas programs which can be reached by residents and businesses participating in AEP Ohio's and Columbia Gas’s energy efficiency programs.

Participate before September 30, 2018 in order for your participation to count toward our goal. AEP Ohio and Columbia Gas energy efficiency programs are available to all customers with an AEP Ohio electric account and a Columbia Gas of Ohio natural gas account and are available all-year round.
